About a week ago, I went to Zap2it TV listings and displayed
the entire week of Showtime and HBO, and there was almost
nothing on there that I'd be interested in seeing.  It
looked like a vast wasteland.

Never going to happen.  Just be patient and wait for the
commercial DVDs to come out (e.g. Band of Brothers).   ;-)
