Jack coughed in the car. That has to mean something. I think he was sweating 
for heroin but the cough seemed to indicate something else.

They also had the opportunity to infect him while he was in Mexico. And this
could be another reason why it's so "dangerous" to bring him back. And also
why they won't allow him to be killed.
