Joey took off the hat often enough for us to see he had hair. Although
wearing a hat day in a day out will cause balding. But then again the
_character_ was wearing the hat. I'm sure he took it off when filming
was over.

I have to point out here his head is _shaved_ and not balding.

You mean the late Maurice Gibb. I do think Ron is a case of baseball cap
syndrome causing his balding.
