I should hope Steven Moffat knows better than to try "replacing" Jeff. A new,
different character, perhaps, but trying to replicate him would be a waste of
time. Look at what happened in the American series, where some episodes used
exactly the same scripts (trimmed to make space for commercials) and even the
identical mixes of the transition-music, but the actors were mostly unable to
do anything at all with the lines--even with the example of the original to
guide them.
