I like Rose because she's ethnic, a Catholic even. Oakdale is too full of Wasps. I like Dusty's unpredicability and complexity. I like Roger's Paul. He's also unpredictable and complex. Also, I think this story is character driven. Roger's Paul is a Stenbeck. Dusty loves Rose because she's Lily's twin (my opinion), and Rose is torn between two lovers because she's basically insecure and feels inferior to Lily (my interpretation). > >yeah, unfortantely i have to agree as well. I'm not sure I LIKE the story. But Hogan has separated lovers in a more complex way than most soaps. No one has amnesia, no one is in a wheelchair (now, Andy was!), no one is in jail falsely imprisoned, no one is blind and wants to spare the lover from a lifetime of sacrifice. Dusty/Rose/Paul is a very strange love triangle for a soap. \ I sure don't. Usually, someone comes along and says they're > really enjoying some story people fuss about, but not this time. I'm not enjoying it per se, but I'm going along for the ride. > We're all waiting with bated breath for someone to knock Rose off. Not me! I like Rose, and I'm hoping against hope that she won't be killed off. Gail
