Paul Russell Casting is holding both AEA (EPA) & Non-AEA open calls for the AEA LORT B national tour of the new country-folk musical "Keep On The Sunny Side" based on the songs and story of The Carter Family Singers. Barter Theatre Productions, Executive Producer. Seeking actor-musicians for immediate and future replacements AEA LORT B PLUS Salary, transportation, housing and per diem provided. NON-AEA OPEN CALL: Saturday, November 22nd, 10am - 6pm at 520 8th Ave, NYC, 16th floor. Official SIGN-UP begins at 9:30am. No other lists will be validated. Performers must be self-accompanied on stringed instrument(s) as noted in character breakdown. NO pianist provided. Character Breakdown: [A.P. CARTER] 30's - 50's. Baritone. Charismatic, independent and genuine. Must play guitar. [SARAH CARTER] 25 - 40's. Mezzo Soprano / Alto. A spitfire, with simple needs. Must play autoharp. [MAYBELLE CARTER] 25 - 40. Alto / Mezzo Soprano. Salt-of-the-earth. Must play pick guitar well. [JANETTE CARTER] 20's - Early 30's Mezzo Soprano / Soprano. Passionate, energetic. Must play guitar. Ability to play autoharp a plus. [MULTIPLE CHARACTER MALE ACTOR] Mid 20's - 50's. Baritone.
