When Merman toured in CALL ME MADAM in 1968 presumably there was an
"LBJ" version of the book devised for the occasion.

Which suggests an idea for the worst "topical" update for this script:

SALLY [circa 1984]: Hello, Ronny! Yes, it's me, Sally! Ronny, isn't it
