its waste of time trying to tell these people that
theres not a good side and bad side
theres the one side repudiating what it once stood for
and the other side is living up to what is expected of it
and both end up at the same place

the difference is the usa is backing one side over the other
and therefore drawn into a conflict not of its making
and losing soldiers and property and civilians and skyscrapers
so that a cowboy wannabe call say bring it on
safe in his reinforced concrete bunker hidden
while the civilians walk the street with dire predictions of bombs
and soldiers walk the street eight thousand miles away
with the dire consequences of bombs
