Jesus, how well I remember hanging out in the corner drugstore panting with eagerness for the next installment, back when it was "Tiger, Tiger", coming out bit by bit in -- was it F&SF? Great stuff, even though I did have an awful run-in with Bester many years later when he was drunk and stupid and I was brash and furious, on a panel at something-con on something or other . . . Ted Sturgeon kept trying to make peace, but I think he was high on something. Wish I'd been; I might have been less explosive, and I might have had a real conversation with A.B. instead of a head-butting contest. Foolish youth, foolish age . . . never mind, we'll meet again sometime and do better. SMC -- Crowfoot
