 In L. Neil Smith's _The Venus Belt_ a group of libertarian
entrepreneurs led by the President of the United States (a gorilla, not
a chimp) smash Ceres into Venus at high speed to turn it into an
asteroid belt which is much more useable as living space etc. than the
current planet.
