Anyone out there a Portal fan?

Portal is a Science Fiction ish series that runs on the G4 TV cable channel.
It invokes Dave, a human, VAL, his trusty female computer companion, and
a variety of other virtual world friends, all of which appear to 'exist'
within the various massively multi-player role playing games available
today - Everquest, Dark Ages of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxy, etc.

The creator keeps several arcs going in parallel, with events crossing
between the various worlds at times.

Right now, a time travelling evil conciousness from the future has framed
our hero for attempting to destroy Christmas with an 'ion bat' ...

This of course is all played strictly for laughs.  This is not intended
as 'serious SF'.  However, I have to admit that the kids and I find this
to be the first SF comedy that we actually have looked forward to.
