*waves* :-)

Actually, your post was the first I heard of it so the first thing I did is
Google it to find out if it had already received any free press. It had,
on a few web sites but also in the Vancouver Sun (the show is shot
there) and a paragraph in this NY Post column:

http://www.nypost.com/entertainment/10956.htm

It'll hopefully get a lot more free press before the episode airs on
December 17. (At least that's when a few of the stories said it's
scheduled.) Majors plays an NSA agent who comes out of retirement
and works with Jake on a mission. I like that concept because it's
so simple to describe and draw people in to watch.

On the letter-writing campaign, it probably can't hurt especially the
"thank you for picking up the full season" bit. But really the future
of the show will be based on how the ratings go the rest of this
season 1. If this trendline:

continues below Twilight Zone through the end of the season, it'll be
trouble. If it trends up from here and is above Twilight Zone towards
the end, I think it gets renewed regardless of campaigns. The thing
the show has to focus on is publicity to get more people to watch.
Creatively I think it's strong enough to hold some folks it brings in
for things like this Lee Majors spot, but it needs more ratings-boosting
and publicity-generating things like that to get it renewed.

Spreading positive word of mouth, and word of stunt casting or events
like this one, is probably the best thing fans can do on the Internet and
offline. Like you did with your mention of it here.
