Re: Sci-Fi Channel observations

I spend an obscene amount at Costco. (but they do sell out of these things really fast, and I can't say if you'll get lucky at the store. you may want to call ahead and ask if they've still got some in stock)

When I see lox there for 9 dollars/pound, I know it's a good deal. These days, I mostly get books and DVDs. they also sell printer cartridges for about 1/2 of the office supply stores (like Staples).

I first joined to get tires for the car.

Hmmm....
After finally taking the time to contact Amazon about a loose S2 disc, they
sent me a replacement set. It just arrived and also has a loose, scratched
disc. THE SAME ONE! So I called them again today, and they've agreed to
take both sets back for a full refund.

So maybe I'll saunter over to Costco this evening. We could use a couple of
hundred pounds of toilet paper...

OK, not really. But it's better than buying the 5-gallon bucket of Breyer's
ice cream...

OK, not really. But my waistline is better off.

Are you dropping them, or are they moving Sci-Fi to the digital package
only? I hope the former. Not sure what I'd do without my daily dose of

BB5.

See other posts. Apparently you're losing it regardless.

And to quote Mac, "DVD's"
Just don't order them online. Go to a store, buy the set, then open it

and

inspect it with their customer service rep to make sure there are no

loose

scratched discs, a chronic problem with these sets. Just bought S3 at

Best

Buy and had to go through 3 sets to assemble one that was complete and
unscratched.

I've never had a problem with loose discs from the Costco, for any of my sets, B5 included. Plus, they have a no-questions asked return policy (you just need a reciept).
