Yes.

I do this with digital cable, David, and it's no problem.  The only snag 
was that the cable guy wanted to hook everything up for me when he 
brought the box over for the first time, and he was way less informed 
about how to do it than me.  So I just let him hook up one line into the 
digital cable box as he explained to me how women just don't understand 
these things, waved sweetly at him, and after the truck pulled away I 
rewired the whole mess.  Simple.
