I couldn't understand how he could have missed her as Jean > Grey until he felt the scar while they were in the tent. In the novel he knows it is her right away and does not kiss her. She then changes into a naked storm in the book. (Naked Hally Barry - wow). What I don't understand is why she went in there in the first place. Was it just to mess with him for stabbing her in the past? > Speaking of > Jean Grey, I have a hunch they're going to bring her back in the 3rd > movie as Pheonix. I mean, it is just unavoidable, right? I watched the movie again recently and noticed something at the end of the movie, when the camera was moving over the water. If you watch the shadow in the water, it eventually becomes a bird like form Phoenix. Likewise the scene before has Professor X looking out the window at the school and pausing for a bit. When asked if everything was OK he replied yes. IMO he sensed Jean again. Earlier in the movie Jean started to have an orange glow around her when she used her powers, as if the phoenix was in her and waiting to come out. Her powers also became much stronger in this movie to the point of her commenting to Scott that she now hears everybody, which had nothing to do with the plot. This also could also be lead-ins to the phoenix storyline.
