I'd go for shots of Gaudi's work in Barcelona: the rooftop and
exterior details of Casa Milla, the outdoor corridors in Park Guel,
and the exterior of La Sagrada Familia. It's all a cool mixture of
organic shapes and non-organic materials; Giger's work in the Alien
movies looks to have been influenced by Gaudi.
Some of Le Corbusier's less angular buildings, like La Chapelle de
Ronchamp, also give me the feeling of being alien (ironically).
