"ARIZONA PARADISE"
It's just another day,
in Arizona Paradise.
Where~~~~
Newly-built Spanish haciendas
meticulously lined up in a row,
proudly reflect
their snow-white beauty, off
magnificent, deep-blue skies.
Where~~~~
Leaning palm trees sway slightly
in the rhythm of the wind,
and with
the wind in their rhythm, as
they extend their palms
to the soothing heat of the sun.
Where~~~~
Thick carpets of sand and rocks
rest and reach
for the suns' shining warmth,
as if competing with human sun thieves
by cool pools,
who steal more rays than they should.
Where~~~~
Jumping cacti alive with smiling flowers
leap to show off their true colors,
to the knowing eyes, of
the Indian spirits,
who linger above and beneath, their
rainbows of truth.
Where~~~~
Painted-purple, spectacular mountains
display their colorful bodies
and many shapes
to the shaded desert below,
while the evergreen arms of the Saguaro
seem to reach for God.
Where~~~~
I am deeply appreciative
and very proud to admit, that~~~
I am an Arizona thief,
Living - Loving and - Stealing~~~
Just another day,
in Arizona Paradise!
