I've noticed in reviews of LOST IN TRANSLATION that nobody seems to understand the whisper at the end. It's been a while since I watched the film, but at the time I though I understood: he said that when she told her husband what she had been doing while he was away, she shouldn't make something up but tell him the truth. I hadn't realized that we were not supposed to be able to hear it it. Did anyone else hear something similar, or did my brain fill in too many blanks? It makes sense: he's trying to give her a chance to keep her marriage from getting as screwed up as his is. All the best, David
