Super 35 doesn't do _anything_ for the exhibitor. The s35 camera negative is optically printed through an anamorphic lens to create (possibly several intermediate elements later) a print which can be shown with standard CinemaScope projection lenses. The major advantages of s35 are on the production side: smaller, lighter, cheaper camera lenses; lack of artifacts which would normally be introduced by anamorphic camera lenses; and extra information on the negative which can be used to make a reasonable 4:3 (aka 1.33:1) TV version. -- Scott Norwood: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cool Home Page: http://www.redballoon.net/ Lame Quote: Penguins?
