Um...it may have been 48 perfs per frame if you want to look at it that
way.  As I recall sometimes on S/E they sometimes shot a matte frame as
well (probably backlighting the cel so the inked area is reversed out). 
One would think that R-G-B-matte would suffice but the description I saw
had them shooting matte frames after each color sep; maybe it was easier
to work with that way.  I don't know if this was just on certain scenes
or the whole show.  There was something about this in A/C...maybe where
Black Cauldron was discussed.
