Hi, I wanted to know any opinions about using the PD6 for a reality tv style doc shoot I'm working on. I'm concerned about the ruggedness of the machine, the ease of use and reliability on the job, and also the length of the DVD discs/battery life. We're following a family of bail bondsman around in both their home life and their work life. About once a week we go on fugitive recovery's which involves a lot of running about, up to 4 people on wires and a boom, and currently a mix down of these tracks as best I can to 2 channels. I'm trying to have no more than 2 wires on one channel and use the boom as much as possible- this isn't always the case. I'm concerned about using the PD6 especially in terms of the limited battery life and having to carry around and change the disc so often that I may get caught out, as opposed to going wireless to camera with a dat backup, tried and tested but only two tracks. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. James
