People like seeing movies on the big screen in movie theaters. Most existing movies are old. They aren't playing on any big screen anywhere. If you run one of those movies in an art house, most of the people interested in seeing it won't know about it so won't come. Especially if you only have one showing. So. Have a web page. People can sign in, say what city they're in and what movies they'd like to watch on the big screen (pick from a database of all movies ever made), and what times of the week they could watch a movie. When you get enough people in one city to fill a theater for one movie, and you can find a physical copy of that movie, then you send mail to those people and tell them when the movie will be showing. You can show the movies in existing art houses. (You wouldn't wait until the theater is exactly filled; some people bring their friends, some people don't show up at all, there's some formula there.)
