Uh, bad example. A film where he was asked to overact proves little.
He has no problem at all to express basic emotions. His 'problem' is
that he's working in Bollywood where subtelty is not in much demand
and that he looks anything but average which makes it tough to 
dissapear behind his characters. Robert de Niro looks like John Smith
and that's a big help. He can be almost anyone and look convincing.
The most respected actors are not good looking, they usually
look plain average.
