Amitabh is one of those rare men who still talk to their wives
after marriage . Wonderful lines like - I was only living before I met
you , you are the one who put the beat in my heart .
The movie is about parents should do after retirement - stay
with their kids ? The problem is that the kids are faced with two sets
of dependents , their parents and their kids . So my advice to parents
is to make themselves useful - do the accounts , cook etc.
The view from the pod of the London Eye is superb . You will
see a bird's eye view of the sights of London . Its many times higher
than the statue of Liberty. Salman is going to be rehabilitated
because he does the aarti - his mother is a Hindu .
The second half is delightful . The sad scenes eg where the
lady who plays the wife of Paresh Rawal , reads Hema Malini's letter .
The flute played in the background brings tears . The dialog is
excellent . Hema Malini is truly amazing - fantastically beautiful ,
more so than in Sholay thirty years ago ! And her Tamil accent ! One
could listen to it all day !
This is a truly wonderful movie and deserves to become one of
the biggest hits of all time . Will be off to see it again next week.
