Pretty hilarious discussion. But do you guys realize where Canadian's came from? The basic English speaking population of eastern Canada came from the northern states. Colonists who chose to remain loyal to the King were obliged to leave. By 1830 an estimated 80% of the English speaking population of Ontario was of American origin. As these fellow former Europeans migrated north, many stayed and continued the taming of America. The popularity of firearms in America is no surprise really since the firearm has been at our sides since the dawn of the United States. Between killing native Americans, Buffalo, and each other, guns are as familiar a tool to American's as I'm sure the sled is to Eskimo people. The phrase "America Junior" is actually sort of correct in this light. Canadian news relies pretty heavily on America, and most people in Canadian entertainment come to the states sooner or later to pursue careers. But then of course they would since Canada has a population that's somewhere near the population of California. Not to mention that the US is the entertainment capital of the world. I live about 10 minutes from Canada, and I know many Canadians, and have spent a lot of time in Canada. One major thing Canada has going for it, is they seem to respect the land. Rather than exploit the land until it's useless for anything other than supporting strip malls, Canadian's choose to co-exist with their environment. Also, the women are hot as hell.
