I'd love to see The Silmarillion (still one of my top 3 books of all
time 20 years after reading it the first time) as a 3-4 film sequence,
or as a 12 part miniseries.  And quite a lot of the plot and dialogue
can already be taken from the pages of the History of Middle Earth.
