The wet-squad agency responsible for these political whacks simply 
*must* pony up for decent weaponry for their poor patsies (and stiffs, 
in the case of "suicides"). It so gives the whole game away.

I mean, why on earth would LHO attempt to assassinate the President 
using the worst piece of shit Italian rifle on Earth when, if he has the 
bucks to fly around, he could certainly hit up any sporting goods store 
for a top-line Marlin capable of blowing holes through elk at a 
half-mile?  (And why would Vince shoot himself with a shitty "drop-gun" 
made from parts of two other revolvers [just begging to blow up in your 
hand] when it'd be less of a hassle to blow one's brains out with the 
nice, shiny silver automatic that he already owned?)
