The Yamato Youth Arts Association is kicking off their 2003/04 fundraising drive for the 2004 Yamato Drum & Bugle Corps. Last year, the American members contributed over $50,000.00 in raised funds and tuition to participate in the Drum Corps International Summer Music Games. The members said they had a blast in 2003 and are looking forward to the 2004 season. But to make their experience in 2004 even more memorable, we need your help. Yamato has been striving not only for the chance of a gold medal finish, but also to give their members the best summer experience ever. A perfect 10 in all categories, if you may call it. In able to allow our members to strive for a perfect 10 in 2004, Yamato is asking for your help. Our goal is to raise $100,000.00 before the next season in able to ease the financial obligations of both the American and Japanese members. A $10.00 contribution to Yamato will help the members strive for a perfect 10. It may not sound much, but 1,000 people donating only $10.00 would cut the cost of the Americans' tuition by over 25%. HOWEVER, you don't have to stop there. Donate $50.00 or more and become a member of the Yamato Donors' Club. As a member, you will receive selected items from our souvenir booth as well as tickets to "The Western Corps Connection," where you have experienced drum corps at its finest. The Yamato Donors' Club can be beneficial to you as your donation is tax deductible. The Yamato Youth Arts Association, a California 501(c) 3 nonprofit youth organization, sponsors the Yamato Drum & Bugle Corps. Help Yamato strive for a perfect 10 in 2004! http://www.yamatodrumcorps.org
