Another Skyliner Question...

    Two questions really....

        1.     When did the "New York, New York" solo start....
                    Those 4 famous notes....and;

        2.    (He shudders as he even considers asking this question)...
                    Did anyone EVER miss it???

    Now....I have NOTHING against Sky....two of my alltime favorite
            repertoires are the 1960 and the 1980 routines.  I marched with
Hawthorne
            in 1960 so I wasn't THAT aware of what you guys were doing.
Just
            took me a few years to figure out where "Goodbye Broadway, Hello
            France" came from.
