December 13-14 are the next weekend camp dates for PHOENIX (DCI Division III--Brick, NJ). Thanks to all who attended our November camp...spots are still open in all sections of the corps! A personal plea to brass players, and to those woodwind players that would like to march: come to the next camp and check it out! You will not be disappointed! We have returning vets that are truly excited about this season, along with new attendees that are ready to make the commitment. Our brass staff is new, but very experienced, and we have one of the top brass arrangers in the business! Percussion players: this is by far the most talented and experienced percussion staff in the history of the corps, as it consist of former members/instructors of some of the best percussion lines in the activity! We will be playing on new equipment this season, too! Looking to field 6 snares, 3 tenors, 5 bass and 6 for the pit. The guard is led by two individuals who have been very successful in both drum corps and winter guard: they are putting together what wil be their most talented group of guard members in the corps' history, but only a few spots remain open! Our visual/marching staff consists of very talented individuals who have marched in some of the best drum corps in the activity, and our drill designer is one of DCI's most respected, as well as being one of the friendliest and most positive individuals you could ever meet! So--what are you waiting for? PHOENIX is going to make HUGE strides in '04: why not be a part of it? For more information, please go to the website: www.phoenixnj.org.
