We have openings in all captions and wish to field as many people as we can for the 2004 season. Even if you are not interested in performing, we hope you can make it out to see what this is all about and maybe you can help us in another small way for the upcoming season. If you are a woodwind player who is curious about joining, please feel free to come out as we are fully prepared to help you learn another section to become proficient in. What to bring: Brass: Bring a mouthpiece Percussion: Sticks and practice pads Guard: Flag if you have one All: Please don't forget to bring your $25 fee to the camp if you wish to participate as a performer. We greatly appreciate it! The educational staff is looking very forward to meeting the future of what could be a very positive group in the Southern Louisiana community. We seek to enhance the music education of the area and assure all band directors in the area that we will never take away from your program but rather seek to help music education in the area by providing another performance medium. Our staff consists of those who have marched competitive Sr. and Jr. Corps such as SkyRyders, Expressions, The Cavaliers, and others as well as those who teach band programs in the area. We hope to see many there for what will be a fun and exciting day of DRUM CORPS in Southern Louisiana. Email with any questions, comments, or concerns about the corps or the open house. Sincerely, Tony Marinello [EMAIL PROTECTED] Note: The Southern Silver Star is not associated with nor a part of the "Force de Louisiane."
