VMX Easter eggs and interesting tidbit

..well after searching six places i still haven't been successful
finding a copy of Merry Muppet Christmas Movie to purchase...but i did
find some rental copies at Blockbuster!

I won't post any spoilers (except one minor one below) here but overall
the extras weren't as bad as i feared...there's not the fun interactive
menus like on MCC or MTI (very dorky menus actually) and there's no
commentary but the Inside Pepe's Studio is great and there's there's
some absolutely wonderful bloopers and plenty of deleted scenes that
were cut from the movie for time - though Snoop Dogg's scene was not
among them...curious as to what the exact scene/how he would have fit in
would have been.

For those who don't like hunting for the Easter Eggs...here's how to
find them.  On the main menu, highlight the mistletoe in the Muppet
Christmas Movie logo which will give you an extra deleted scene (though
i think this is a "fun" extra scene done for the DVD as opposed to
having been shot for the movie.  Another bonus (and real) deleted scene
can be found by highlighting the mistletoe in the Special Features
wording of the Special Features menu.  

Don't remember the exact screen it is...pretty sure it's the trailors
menu but where there'a a still photo of Kermit and Piggy from Moulin
Scrooge, highlight the button in the photo for footage of Kermit's
induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Now for a very minor spoiler from one of the extras....
















We learn from the full version of Kermit's interview with Carson Daly
that the Muppets inherited the Muppet Theatre from Scooter's uncle (and
they had no idea how much debt was involved with it)...i thought that
was kind of an interesting little tidbit - the implication being that
J.P. Grosse has passed away!
