No doubt vikings were influenced by what they saw along the three main routes -the Atlantic to Mediterranian - Baltic Sea-Volga river to orient -Ireland-Island-Greenland-New Foundland. The religious influence of Orthodox must have been minimal. The churches were catholic, I have seen any mentions about orthodox vikings within their proper area. Only few converts who had settled in colonies in Russia. The Celtic influence is interesting. I wonder which way it was. Up to 1044 British Islands were settled by vikings. Dublin was a Viking town.
