Crap, now Dr. Lara has *me* doing it. At the risk of killing any more
of my cred, I'll stick to the ones I've seen in the last ten years:

[A] Good as it gets; instant classic; one of the cinema's greats
Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast

[B+] Very good, just shy of great
Sword in the Stone (parting with Juan here; this one's a riot)
Hunchback of Norte Dame (might slip to a B, though)

[B] Pretty good, a worthwhile rental or movie trip
Lion King (veers between B+ and B for me)
Lilo & Stitch (naughty and nice)
Mulan (between this and Shrek, it's the tolerable Eddie Murphy
performance)
Pinocchio (mainly for the visuals)
Little Mermaid

[B-] Good enough, or recommended with reservations
Emperor's New Groove

[C+] Tolerable
Tarzan

[C] Disappointing or just mediocre
Pocahontas (we want our pulchritudinous indigenous maidens in GOOD
MOVIES... Lilo & Stitch)
Sleeping Beauty

[C-] Fair
Snow White & the Seven Dwarves (there's a difference between "classic,
old-fashioned storytelling" and "dated, sloppy storytelling")
Alice in Wonderland (never found an angle into this one, other that
hallucinogens, so it's only tolerable in small doses)
Atlantis (soulless)
Hercules (from Aladdin...to Hades)
Treasure Planet (...to the abyss)

Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Robin Hood, and Dumbo are provisional until I
get a good sit-down session with them.
