I'd be safe and stay AWAY from Superman until the new teams come onboard.
Rucka takes over for Casey on ADVENTURES, so that's obviously the best of
the lot. Azzarello and Lee's SUPERMAN seems to be forming up to be a much
better book than Loeb and Lee's BATMAN. And, while the only book I'd
recommend is ACTION, Kelly's ACTION (like a lot of other books he's on) is
very spotty; decent storyline here and there (like, of recent note, #800 and
the "Harvest" storyline) and crap everywhere else. And of course following
Kelly will be.........

I was treated today to something that, while thinking about UXM again,
relates to this subject: the success of Jay Leno over Letterman. While
Letterman is creatively a better and more intriguing show, Leno is bland and
simplistic. Therefore, the masses flock to that over Letterman; why go for
the more clever product that makes you think when you can just chuckle for a
hour without that brain activity? (The point wasn't so derogatory towards
Leno; that's just how I'm flavoring up the opinion). :p

Now just replace Leno is UXM and you'll see what I mean (while Letterman
is......well, pretty much any decent critically acclaimed comic that sells
like crap, or at least not as well as UXM does).

Actually, this volume of Gen13 is being cancelled to make way for a new
series which features on the original cast. My original comment above was a
bit vague, I'm afraid; sorry.

Yowza. Well............Steve Martin's in it (as the head of the ACME
company), so *that* fact alone makes the movie mostly redeemable.
