Graphic novel artists wanted The following message may be forwarded to groups and individuals to whom it may be of interest. --------------------------- Hi, all. I'm a writer, not an illustrator. I'd like to find a way to get some of my ebooks turned into graphic E-novels to be sold on the web. If the graphic novel versions aren't too big, it might be worthwhile to have paper versions made through Cafe Press. The ebook I'd like to see in pictures first -- "Assignment: Atlanta" -- has made it to the 2003 Bestseller list at Fictionwise.com, so this idea isn't a complete shot in the dark. If the graphic novel version sells, I currently have 16 other titles to convert. Because some of the ebooks have erotic content, be 18 if you're interested. If you're only into drawing comic-character men who all look like blocky bodybuilders, there's no point in responding. I want fairly normal-looking characters. If, on the other hand, you're capable of drawing women in the Adam Hughes style -- tall, graceful, and beautiful -- there are plenty of such characters in my ebooks. I can provide valid ISBN numbers through my publishing enterprise and we can work something out concerning payments. There won't be advance payments or contracted artworks. If you give this a shot, you'll make your money on the ebook sales, just as I do. Respond at this Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/artists_wanted/ NOTE: this group is for artists and those who may need original artwork created. It is NOT just for those interested in making graphic novels from my ebooks. DON'T try to send me email with attachments. The email box I use with newsgroups only accepts mail from people on my address list.
