That doesn't seem to be his style, as witness the demolition, 
without visible interference, of his various attempts to preserve 
the LSH's history in the wake of the Crisis.  Or, more broadly, the 
difference between his demonstrated interest in continuity and 
history and those things' current treatment in the DCU.  (I suspect 
that I'd like the DCU better if he *were* more inclined to use his 
position to get comics he liked written.)
