I seem to recall a storyline where Kyle's ring acted on his
subconscious conflicts by bringing several of his characters to "life"
without his knowledge...Apparently, the ring can not only create
sentience (and other power rings) but its creations don't *have* to be
green...tho Kyle hasn't learned that trick yet...
