I think it might help to point out something that I finally learned myself
the other day, which is: Pat has no interest in any fact that refutes any of
his claims. This is clearly shown by the fact that he contradicts himself
so often, and by the fact that whenever someone does clearly and distinctly
refute one of his points, he either skips over that part of your post or
ignores it altogether. He only responds to the questions or comments that
he thinks his rhetoric can shout down. You'll notice it's been a day and a
half since I pointed out that his current hero, Jim Shooter, is the one who
instigated Marvel's SECRET WARS...a cross-company, tangled continuity epic
if there ever was one...and yet he's never addressed it, nor has he chosen
to address any of my posts since I pointed out that he's coming off as a
paranoid loon.
One would think that the fact that he is so easily refuted, coupled with the
fact that his repeated arguments against continuity are not getting him
anywhere, would convince him to change these unreasonable and cowardly
tactics. Yet here he is, still doggedly insisting that he's right...just
not to the people that have already proven him a fool.
I hope the weather is nice in his world, since he seems incapable of
understanding why he's in there all alone.
