Earth-2 Legion

By way of the "Kal-El and Mon-El" thread in *rac.dcu....

Let's say there *had* been an Earth Two Legion back in those halcyon 
days of the Multiverse and the Silver Age. Who would you have wanted to 
see in it? What, if any, would have been their connections to Earth-2's 
various other heroes/aliens/villians?

Some early character possibilities:

1. Halk-Kar, "Superman's Older Brother". The oft-noted proto-Mon-El 
seems a must.

2. Kara Zor-L, Power Girl, though we'd need to find a way to get her 
through the time-barrier regularly somehow. (Maybe the Symbioship 
doesn't get destroyed in those SHOWCASE stories but sticks around and 
develops time travel capabilities? I dunno..) I like the idea of the 
younger PG working with heroes of the future after her arrival on Earth 
but prior to her debut with the All-Star Super Squad/JSA.

3. Sir Justin, the Shining Knight. Hey, he's an old hand at being a 
temporally displaced hero.

4. Per Degaton as the E-2 Legion's version of Nemesis Kid.

5. Thunderbolt--a descendant of Jay Garrick's?


Hmm. This is tough--hard to think of the various E-2 alien worlds or 
other time periods we saw, whereas E-1's were so well established....
