Secret Files 3003 - disappointment

I found Secret Files 3003 to be a big disappointment.

When I buy a secret file book I'm looking for hints about where the series is headed 
in the next year, and background about the series. This issue gave me neither.

I found no clues as to what Darkseids' followers are up to that was not also in issues 
25 and 26. The background info was so superficial as to make me wonder if the artist 
was unsure that readers could identify his characters. Nobody did anything that they 
hadn't already done in the regular series. Well, the Garth thing did, but I mean one 
panel in an entire (oversized) book?

The only new character was the reporter. (Framing-Device Girl)
