Well, um, yes, it is fiction, after all.  They could retcon Kon into
being the clone of a rabbit, if they wanted.

But considering it was a recent fix to a another writer's "fix" to the
character (Marz was looking to make Superboy a bit tragic and give him
a Pinnochio complex about not being able to "grow up."), in the words
of my brother, "Not bloody likely."
