I feel exactly the same. I was a Legion fan who lost all interest during the boots. I picked up the current series a few issues in and Legion has become a title I'm excited about. Yes the stories are derivative - that's fine with me, since most of my favorite Legion adventures don't really seem to exist in the DCU anymore. I like the new interpretations of the characters, and the art really works for me too. Legion has become my guilty pleasure title, one I get anxious for but don't expect anyone else to like.
