I once had it argued to me that money is the root of all evil, you get rid
of money -> you get rid of evil. I say all beach access should be free.
I hear in New Jersey you have to buy a day token to visit the beach. In
Delaware, where I often go to the shore, some signs read "This is a privately
maintained beach." - hinting that you don't have a right to swim, but
you really do.

Dogs don't bother me, but I object to people trying to sell me stuff. 
Nothing worse than settling down with a book and some guy hawking a baseball 
cap or a t-shirt. In fact, I could use some beach time right now ...
