You appear to be somewhat disconnected from reality. "Appeasement of the Muslim world" makes you sound as if the "Muslim world" was some kind of potential enemy. The Red Army Faction operated from Germany - does that mean that Germany is the enemy? The IRA operated from N. Ireland - is the UK the enemy? McVeigh was from the US - Is the US now the enemy? These Islamist "fundamentalists" that the Bush admin. tries to sell as the new Great Enemy (tm) really can't fill the boots of Nazi Germany or Imperialist Japan, not to mention the Soviet Union. Sure, they're disturbed individuals and dangerous ones, but not any serious threat to the Western world and they don't represent the Muslim world. Most of the animosity in the Muslim world toward the US is the US's own making. -JJ
