It probably is. The Swedish word for "king is "king", which is also a Chinese term for "ruler". That doesn't mean that China was founded by Swedes, or vice versa.
On the other hand, it's possible that the term was borrowed from one language to another. For instance, American history includes "admirals," "railroad tycoons," "movie moguls," and "drug czars." Terms for leaders seem to be extremely likely to be linguistically borrowed, perhaps because elites are more aware of other cultures and languages than are masses.
