Speaking of all this, how long is/was the theatrical version? If I remember
correctly, EE is about 110 + 128 minutes (not sure about the exact timing
of the first disk) but the last 20 minutes only shows the list of actors,
staff, members of Tolkien fan club etc etc so effectivelly, we have about
218 minutes of film. Does it mean that the theatrical version was about
2h30m? I do see a lot of new material, but 43' sounds quite a lot for an
3h20' film.
