Anachronisms in LOTR

Seeing the other posts about Pipe - weed and tea,  how about a  list
of things mentioned in LOTR that were latyer discoveries or from N/S
America.

Things that weren't around til medieval, or even New World Contact:

Tobacco

Tomatoes (hmm, cant remember the reference - The Hobbit perhaps?)

Potatoes (Taters precious)

Tea (unless, as another poster mentioned,  it's a herbal variety)

Stirrups (And not sure if Tolkien specifically mentioned these  -
references?)

Chimneys

Any others?
