Up for auction is "SCOTTISH HUMOROUS POEMS, Embracing Nearly 500 Scottish
Songs and Poems, Known as The Thistle, Glasgow, Bonnie Dundee, Sailor Boys,
Edinburgh Castle, Heather Jack, Garibaldi, &c, &c, &c., by Various Authors "
circa the late 1800s, published by John W. Lovell Company New York & with an
illustrated plate opposite the title page. The book is 286 pages, is roughly
5.25" x 7.5" in size, has a dark aqua cover with gold gilt lettering/design
& has gold gilt edges. The book is a very solid sharp copy in very good to
fine condition with light wear but with the first four pages detached due to
brittleness & the cover pulling away a little at the spine. It may be
missing one page after the title page that may have had copyright
information but the book is complete & has pages 1 through 286. Still a
fairly attractive copy. Shipping is $3.95 to $5.40 (depending on where you
live) for USPS Priority or $2.34 for snail mail shipping if a USA shipment.
Insurance is extra & delivery confirmation for the media mail option is
$0.13 extra (USA shipment only). Lots can be combined to save on shipping.
