Re: Does the 20th book in the Aubrey/Maturin series bring closure?

The last book is "Blue at the Mizzen." If with "The Yellow Admiral"
O'Brian was thinking of ending his series, I thought "Blue at the
Mizzen" looked like he was starting a new cycle in the series. I'm
going to be watching out in used books stores to bring together the
entire set. But I feel there's more out there which I'll never see.

O'Brian wrote those books like he was a knowledgeable observer aboard
the ships and with the people he wrote about. Many writers do this
well; but very few indeed as well as O'Brian did it. He writes story
and setting. I'm sorry we lost him.
